Dig & Clean ๐Ÿงผ Farming Guide

The efficient Dig & Clean grind: a five-step loop that turns dirty junk into gold and museum rares, session planning with the Clean Planner, and exactly what the 2x Gold pass does to your farm math.

The loop

The efficient grind, step by step

This loop is built only from confirmed mechanics โ€” cleaning reveals rarity, gold buys gear โ€” plus clearly labeled heuristics for the efficiency calls.

  1. 1. Set one target before you dig

A session without a target drifts. Decide whether you are farming the next gear tier, a gold amount, or museum rares โ€” then run the Clean Planner so the target fits your time.

  2. 2. Work the densest dig spots

Heuristic: minimize walking, maximize digging. Pick the densest cluster of spots you can reach and settle in โ€” with only 6 players per server, you will rarely fight for room.

  3. 3. Clean immediately โ€” never stockpile

A dirty item's rarity only reveals after spraying (official). A stockpile is unknown value sitting idle, and it hides rares you should be protecting. Clean as you go.

  4. 4. Sell commons, museum rares

Commons are the gold that funds your next tier. Rares go straight to the museum โ€” gold is re-farmable, a sold rare is not. The sell function is medium-confidence but corroborated by multiple gameplay videos.

  5. 5. Reinvest in the lagging track

At the end of each loop, spend on whichever gear track is behind โ€” shovel if digs gate you, spray bottle if cleaning does. Balanced tracks compound fastest (heuristic).

Session planning

Plan the session before you grind it

Run the Clean Planner before any long session: enter your current shovel and spray bottle tiers and your time budget, and it tells you which upgrade your gold should go to first. Defaults are labeled community estimates you can edit โ€” only the official pass multipliers are fixed constants.

Pass math

What 2x Gold does to a farm session

The 2x Gold pass (599 R$) is an exact ร—2 multiplier on gold earned โ€” that part is official, straight from the pass name. If your planned session would earn X gold, the same session earns 2X with the pass. It does not make you dig or clean faster โ€” it doubles the payout of the loop you already run.

Opinion Break-even question to ask: will you farm enough sessions for doubled income to beat the 599 R$ cost in time saved? Grinders โ€” yes, quickly. Casual players โ€” Instant Clean (249 R$) usually returns more per Robux.

Routine

A daily and weekly rhythm

Farming rewards consistency more than marathon sessions. This routine is editorial advice โ€” adjust it to your playtime.

Every session (30-60 min)

Opinion: one target, one loop โ€” dig dense spots, clean everything, sell commons, museum rares, buy the next tier if affordable. Stop when the target is hit, not when you are bored.

Daily habit (2 min)

Opinion: re-check the codes page and updates page before grinding. There are no codes yet, but the game's first content update is the most likely code trigger โ€” free rewards beat farmed ones.

Weekly review (5 min)

Opinion: re-curate the museum, compare your shovel and spray bottle tiers in the Clean Planner, and set next week's target. Progress you can see is the best reason to keep the streak.

FAQ

Farming FAQ

What is the best farming loop in Dig & Clean?

Dig the densest cluster of spots you can reach, clean every find immediately, sell the commons, and museum the rares. Then reinvest gold into whichever gear track is lagging and repeat.

Should I stockpile dirty items and clean them later?

No. A dirty item's identity and rarity only reveal after cleaning, so a stockpile is just unknown value sitting idle. Clean as you go so every dig either pays out or fills the museum.

How much does the 2x Gold pass help farming?

Exactly ร—2 on gold earned โ€” that multiplier is official from the pass name. If a session would earn you X gold without it, it earns 2X with it, which is why grinders buy it first.

Is it hard to find dig spots with other players around?

Rarely. Servers are capped at 6 players, which is small for a Roblox simulator, so competition for dig spots stays low even when the game is busy.

How long should a farming session be?

Opinion: plan 30-60 minute blocks with one clear target โ€” a gear tier, a gold amount, or a museum shelf. Run the Clean Planner first so you know the target is reachable in the time you have.
